The article blamed global warming for water loss in Africa’s Lake Chad. But, global warming didn’t cause water loss here. In fact, the depth of Lake Chad is shallow though the area of Chad is large. Surprisingly, the depth of water at Lake Chad is only 7meters. So water dries up easily, because amount of evaporation for each unit area is much more than any other lake.
